Diamond Head today was actually better than I thought. All the swell is in the country and on the west side with the wrap of the power but it actually was fun. There were a few bumps and even on my 7'0" I was able to get some. It has been lake-like lately so that was a bit of a surprise.
The one downside was it was actually pretty crowded. I am guessing it was because people are back in town for the Holiday. It was a bit of weaving people out there. Usually not as crowded Sunday afternoon.
Attached are a few shots from a fishing trip yesterday. That is where the swell was. It was a blast and the boat was rocking pretty good. No fish made it to the boat but based on the pics, you can tell it was still a great day on the water.
